The fall is a busy season for our family.  Between soccer, photography, and dance practices our family of seven is hopping.  As we transition out of the fall and into winter the anticipation builds as we look forward to the Christmas hollidays.  Our oldest daughter has been dancing in the Nutcracker ballet for as long […]

Connections Spring Brunch

This week I had the opportunity to document the Pascack Bible Church women’s ministry Spring Brunch.  The brunch was held in Pearl River NY. I was blown away by the amount of love poured into this event by the various ladies involved.  The details in the table decorations and the buffet spread was a wonder […]

Happy Anniversary Rosanne!

I’m Giddy!  I feel like a kid at Christmas. This month Rosanne and and I celebrated 13 years of wedded bliss.  Ok,  so all 13 have not been bliss, but she has been patient with me, and we are another year closer.  If you would have asked us if we “loved” each other when we […]

Shawn’s new pet

I came home from work Friday and was greeted with a flurry of excitement and activity.  “I have a new pet” My four year old proudly announced. That night and over the next couple of days I had the privilege of seeing a side of my son that I had never had the opportunity before […]

Pinebrook 2009

We are presently spending some family time at Pinebrook Confrence Center in the Poconos.  This has become a family tradition for us.  Our kids talk about it all year and from what my sister tells me, her kids are just as excited.  Excited enough for them to make the 12 hour trek from Chicago each […]

Family Reunion

We had the opportunity to go on our first camping trip of the summer this last weekend with extended family. The theme for the weekend focused on our “Godly Heritage”. Rosanne and I are grateful to those that have gone before us and pray that those who come behind us will find us faithful.

From the family kitchen – Waffles

Breakfasts at our house are often a grab and run event. Between getting the kids ready for home school and getting her husband ready for work, Rosanne often finds little time left to prepare a hot breakfast. All that changes on Saturday as the family comes together in the kitchen to enjoy two of our favorite things, family and food. This recipe is a hit in our house and trust you will enjoy it as well.

A Night in Bethlehem

On December 20th, Risen King Alliance Church, put on an event for the community called “A night in Bethlehem”.
